Crafted by hand and steeped in history, these vintage Shanxi clay pots hail from Northern China and date back over 100 years. Traditionally used to store grains, oils, and fermented foods, their timeworn matte finish and soft blackened tones speak to years of practical use and quiet beauty. A beautiful piece, returning season after season, each piece being completely unique.
These sculptural vessels, make a stunning statement on their own, or used for your favourite foliage.
Please note: If using as a vase, we recommend using a smaller vase, or glass internally as we cannot guarantee that the pot is completely sealed.
Minor chips, small holes, surface marks, or asymmetry are inherent features of their handmade, vintage nature and add to their character and authenticity.
