These handcrafted mills have been produced by a family-run company based in Thessaloniki (Northern Greece) since 1977. The robust design of the mills was originally based on a portable coffee mill created in the early 1900’s for Greek soldiers to use in the field.

The 204 Pepper Mill features a durable brass chrome plated body, Food safe zinc alloy metal grinding mechanism.

Known for their reputation for quality, durability and functionality, each mill is made to be a hardworking, long-lasting tool.  Featuring a 3DCut grinding mechanism- a fully metal, precision-engineered system designed to cut and grind peppercorns rather than simply crush them. This helps release more of the pepper’s natural flavour and aroma.

The grinding process takes place in three stages:

1. Crack — Each peppercorn is grabbed and cracked in half.
2. Cut — The cracked pieces are cut into smaller pieces.
3. Grind — The pieces are then passed through the grinding teeth and ground to your chosen consistency.

The mechanism is fully adjustable from fine to coarse, allowing you to achieve the perfect grind for everything from delicate dishes to hearty roasts.

With plenty of capacity and the ability to grind directly over your food, this is a practical piece designed to become an everyday kitchen essential.

Please Note: Due to the handmade nature of these mills, each piece will have its own unique character. You may notice slight variations in the metal, including subtle differences in colour from the polishing process, as well as minor imperfections such as small scratches.

These natural variations are a result of the finishing process and are NOT considered faults. They do not affect the function or performance of the mill and simply add to the character and individuality of this beautiful kitchen staple.

Care Instructions:
- Never wash or submerge the mill in water.
- Wipe with a damp cloth and dry with a soft towel.
- The outer casing will naturally oxidise and change in appearance with touch, use and exposure to moisture and oxygen in the air.

Cleaning your mill will help maintain it for good working order.  Try give it a clean every time you refill the contents.  Imperfections in the brass from use are not considered faults and are to be expected.
